The manufacturing module is perfect for companies that build products from materials and parts, either for stock or as they are sold.
Works Orders can be raised as required or 
as the result of a sale and the BOM (Bill of Materials) can be edited at the point of sale so you can tailor items to specific customer requirements, and then save that BOM for future use.
The BOM can be unlimited in size and have an unlimited number of sub assembly BOM's as well as cost items such as labour, overheads and consumables so you know exactly how much an individual item has cost
Assemblers can allocate stock, remove stock, replace items and copy orders so they have complete flexibility over the build of your item. Damages and losses can also be recorded if parts are found to be substandard.
Using the same approach, items can be disassembled by reversing the BOM putting the component items into stock. This feature is ideal for companies that use recycling or who sell refurbished items or parts.
